A drive up the coast

For Jeremy's Birthday we decided to take a drive up the coast. Our destination was the Madonna Inn and Hearst Castle. Jeremy has been wanting to do this for years, but we just never got around to it. The best part was they boys stayed with Grandma and Grandpa. Although about an hour into our trip, we missed them. I can't tell you how many times we said "Preston would like this". Next time.......

On the way home we stopped by the Reagan Library to tour Air Force One. It was really neat, we highly recommend it. (Preston would have loved it!!)

Nap, who needs a nap?

Preston decided today that he didn't need a nap. I went along with his decision, because I knew that an early bed time would be the end result and I want to work on my scrapebooks. It was during dinner that he changed his mind and wanted to go to sleep!!! Being that it was 6:00, I wasn't going along with it. I tried everything to keep him up but everytime I turned around he was asleep somewhere. Tomorrow we are going back to nap time in THE AFTERNOON!

Love at First Bite

Harrison tried rice cereal and loved every bite of it. You would never know it was his first time eating. He didn't push it out or close his mouth tight, it was like he did it everyday. When he was finished (only 1 tablespoon worth, it didn't take long) he chewed on his new really cool bib. We are going to try some peas and applesauce next week. I told Jeremy to taste the rice cereal but he refused, "it smells to much like the box, Yuk". I had to agree.

The Zoo

Saturday, our family visited the San Diego Zoo. We had a great time. Preston loves to hang out with his cousins Andre and Elijah. Their favorite animals were the elephants and the monkeys. Sometimes we weren't sure who was looking at who!! We can't wait to go back.

So Big and Only 3 Months Old

Harrison is getting so big!!! He is actually bigger than Preston was. He smiles and laughs all the time. His favorite thing is when you talk to him, he finds us very funny!! What's up with that?
Look at those blue/green eyes. He is going to have curly hair too (just like the rest of the clan, we love it).
