Easter 2008

Easter Egg hunt at The Eynon's. The boys did not want me to take pictures. What's new? Excuse the bag Preston is using, I guess he is to cool to use a cute basket.Here is the boys on Easter morning. This photo is worth a million words.
1. The lights are on. So that means it's still dark outside, 6:30 if I remember correctly.
2. I was still half asleep by the quality of the photo.
3. The boys have not gone to the bathroom yet.

Coloring eggs.....5 dozen of them. Thank you Costco!!

Harrison put all his eggs in a color or two and then wanted Preston's eggs. We told him no, he cried.

Monday Afternoons

There is nothing better than sitting on the couch with good friends, watching a good movie and eat'n some string cheese!! Welcome to my Monday play date swap....this was after 3 hours of school and 2 hours of playing in the mud (that explains the underwear).

Wii

The Eynon house is full of testosterone therefore Jeremy thought it was high time to upgrade our 1986 Nintendo. No more blowing into the games to clean them in this house. Oh no...we are now the proud owners of a Wii system! The boys are having a blast, yes all of them!! Preston's favorite game is "Cars", we even found some tricks his dad didn't. Among Jeremy's tops favorites is Guitar Hero. Mom's favorite is to sit with Harrison in her lap and watch the boys have sooo much fun with each other. Just maybe they will come out with a scrapbook challenge game or a sewing tutorial. A girl can always hope.

So any one interested in racing a few cars or playing a song or two come on over!!

Bird House Adventures

We have a family of birds that come back to our front porch and build a nest every spring. We watch her build a nest, have babies, feed the babies for a few weeks and then all the birds fly away. So for Christmas this year, Jeremy purchased a bird house the boys could build for the birds this year. They had so much fun building the house and painting it. Preston placed it proudly in the same spot the birds nest every year. As usual the birds came back this week and started to build a nest, but instead of using Preston and Harrison's nice new house, the birds choose a nice spot in the backyard. Preston is truly insulted!! The nice thing is the tree they choose is right out the window so we can watch them about a foot away and they are not scared. Hopefully I can get some more photos of the baby birds soon!

Happy Birthday Dr. Suess

Here is Preston on Backwards Day and Crazy Hair Day. His hair is flaming red but you really can't see it in the photo. We have also enjoyed green eggs and ham for over a week now. Happy Birthday Dr. Suess!!

Diapers.....Not In My House

Well it is official!! Harrison is potty trained. I have been changing diapers for 5 consecutive years, Hurray! I thought Preston was easy, Harrison takes the cake.

Preston 2007 Review

Preston had many firsts in 2007.

Preston started primary. The year started out with Grandma as his teacher and then half way though the year he got a new teacher sister Keawakoni. He fell in love immediately. He loves Primary, and loves to offer prayers, give talks, be spotlight. Give him anything and I promise you will have to take the mic away!! Shy is not in his vocabulary.

He played on a city soccer team with his friends Braden, Mason and Ben. Most of the time on the field was spent showing each other what was in their pockets and wanting drinks. Whenever you would yell GO PRESTON, he would walk over and and say "What did you say?"

He sat on Santa's lap this year!! He asked for a dog slinky and a Jack-in-the-Box. He got both along with a Razor Scooter which he loves and mastered quickly.

September Preston started his second year of Preschool. He absolutely loves it. He really enjoys everyone in the class, his favorite girl is Cloe! He played the Inn Keeper in the school Christmas Play.

As Prestons 5th birthday draws near, I think about how he has grown and also what we are in store for. His latest line is "I'm getting a better attitude Mom, now can I do....". He love his brother, spending time with his friends and pixar movies.

We sure love Preston, he always brings a smile to our face and makes us laugh with his humor!

Harrison 2007 Year in Review

Harrison turned 2 this year and loves that he's old enough to hang out with Preston's pals!! Here he is enjoying some of his Birthday Cake!

Christmas was complete because of Heimlich.

He can't sit in a booster seat because he continually takes off his seat belt. One time I thought, I will show him why he has to keep it on. So while driving into the garage I SLAMMED on the breaks. Harrison went flying, ended up on the floor board and the booster seat flipped upside down (like I said I SLAMMED on the breaks). He gets up, fixes his seat, puts his arm in the air and says again mom!! (Back to the car seat!)

He loves his new gym class. He has mastered the rings and balance beam, but likes to crash land instead of landing on his feet.

He has graduated to a big boy bed with Preston. He continually got out of his crib and would go into Preston's room and crawl into bed. So after a week of 2 big boys in one bed we assembled the bunk beds!! They both love sharing a room. Harrison's old room is sitting empty, we are not to0 sure what to do with it!

We signed him up for preschool, he starts with his friend Alyia in September.

Harrison is a funny kid and is as cute as can be!
