We have a family of birds that come back to our front porch and build a nest every spring. We watch her build a nest, have babies, feed the babies for a few weeks and then all the birds fly away. So for Christmas this year, Jeremy purchased a bird house the boys could build for the birds this year. They had so much fun building the house and painting it. Preston placed it proudly in the same spot the birds nest every year. As usual the birds came back this week and started to build a nest, but instead of using Preston and Harrison's nice new house, the birds choose a nice spot in the backyard. Preston is truly insulted!! The nice thing is the tree they choose is right out the window so we can watch them about a foot away and they are not scared. Hopefully I can get some more photos of the baby birds soon!
