Emma is on a mission to Eat, Poop and Grow. This photo was taken on Christmas Eve, so she was almost 2 weeks old. On her 2 week visit to the doctor she grew 2 inches and 1 full pound since birth. With the amount of time I spend nursing her I am not surprised at all! I completely forgot how much time is involved taking care of a newborn. And just so you know....its worth every second.

Christmas 2008
1. I am still on drugs
2. I have not sleep
3. I was trying to enjoy the moment in person instead of behind the camera.
I was so excited for Christmas to come and now I am so excited to get Christmas out of my house! I want the tree down and every hint of red gone. Here are some highlights of our Christmas.
Preston woke up at 3:00am, yes 3:00am and scared me to death. I was asleep sitting up (all you nursing mom's know exactly what I am talking about) and I opened my eyes and he was just standing next to my bed. With much excitement he informed me that Santa had been here and it was time to open presents. I said no go back to bed. We found him sleeping on the couch downstairs complaining his neck hurt at about 8:00am Christmas morning!
Papa Santa
Have you ever seen Harrison not give someone a hug? Santa even gets one!

Here is the boys with Papa Santa. Every year Papa dresses up like Santa for something and the boys go and visit. Preston gives us subtle hits that he knows it's papa but I don't think Harrison has a clue. That statement actually describes by boys perfectly! They are so different and we love them for who they are and because they are individuals. We love Papa Santa too!
Seriously
One night the binky fell on the floor and Oliver got it within seconds. He wanted to play and he taunted me with it while running in circles and pouncing around. I didn't think it was important enough to bend over and pick up so I continued to yell at him to drop it. He ran outside, he tought I was going to chase him but my thoughts were very different....I closed the back door and left him out in the rain. So this yellow binky is now Olivers. He doesn't like to chew it, he just walkes around the house sucking on it. So if you come over Emma DOES NOT take a binky, but Oliver does ....so please don't try to give it to her.

First Car Ride With Three Kids
We loaded all the kids in the car for the first time tonight to go look at Christmas lights. I needed out of the house, its been a week already. We barley left Coto and Harrison was asleep and the conversation with Preston started.
P - I have Bad News....... never mind......well I do have bad news but when I tell you guys you will be upset.
Mom - Its okay, just tell us
P - Its nothing I will be fine.
Mom - Preston just take a deep breath and tell us. I promise we won't be mad. (this went back and forth for a few minutes)
P- okay, I stuck a piece of paper up my nose and now its stuck. But don't worry its only medium sized. Do you think I am going to die?
Mom- I think your going to live but we need to get it out.
Thanks to the handy dandy tweezers in the emergency kit, Jeremy was able to get it out pretty quickly. I doubt he ever sticks anything else in his nose. And he was right it was medium in size.

A New Love - Emma Wray Eynon
Emma Wray Eynon has arrived and is adorable. She has definitely stolen our hearts already.
I started to have some contractions on Thursday night and decided to just go to bed. I woke up at 2:00 and my water broke! Jeremy and I jumped in the shower and packed our bags quickly. Grandpa was able to come over and sit with the boys until they woke up while we headed to the hospital.
She arrived at 7:30am on Friday December 12th!
She weighed in at 6.11 and measured 19 1/2 inches long.
She is a great eater, we can basically set our watch to her eating schedule, every 2 hours and 45 minutes. I LOVE knowing exactly what to expect and when to expect it. We are so blessed and feel so honored to have her join our family. Harrison is a little protective and Preston is completely in love with her. He says he can't wait for us to come home so he can help feed her, play with her, change her diaper and just plain hold and love her.
We love you Emma!
Bring It On
I am 100% ready for Christmas, the lights are hung, the tree is decorated, the annual gingerbread houses are full of frosting and candies and the presents are ready to be wrapped! We enjoyed "Follow the Star" and driving around looking at lights. So now we wait....patiently wait!
Dad did a great job making the Christmas trees!
I prepped the house for Preston to decorate. Can you tell his in love with his mom?
Our Santa experience was excellent this year. Both Preston and Harrison had a good time sitting on Santa's lap. They also enjoyed the donut breakfast and playing with their friends at the park.
Each year the boys get a special ordainment to hang on the tree, something that represents them that year. This year it was Star Wars. I love to look back on the ordainment for the last few years. It reminds me of me and what they were into and the all the memories of that year. Preston now has 6 and Harrison 4.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Here are the boys ready to eat Thanksgiving Dinner. Their favorite dishes were Turkey and the "Orange Potatoes".
Preston had a special performance at school followed by a Thanksgiving Feast. He loves to sing and was extra excited that I was able to help out in the classroom ALL DAY! He decided that he wanted to be an Indian.
