First Day of School

Here we are, a new school year. Preston stated 1st grade with a bunch of kids from his K class. he is in a k/1 combo which makes me very happy! The K's leave at 10:15 for recess and then home, so the teacher student ratio is much lower. He loves it and his teacher Miss Morris. I have already received email's home telling me how much Miss Morris loves having him in her class. She says he is kind and such a great listener in class. Way to go Preston!!

Harrison is doing his second year of Preschool with Mrs. Cari. He has a great class with most of his friends.

Preston with some of his friends from last year! What a fun bunch of kids.

He is getting so big and tall. Did I actually give birth to this child 6 years ago? He comes up to my shoulders, give him another 2 years and I am sure that he will be taller than me.

Summer 2009

What have we been doing this summer?

Well it all started with Jeremy having emergency back surgery. He was done most of the summer. The kids found the hospital bed useful at times.

Emma was determined to climb the stairs. It is still a pain. She crawls up and sits at the top crying because she wants to be downstairs with the family. A crazy cycle EVERYDAY!

We spent A LOT of time at the bucket, no sand, boys safe, Emma happy = a happy mama!

Harrison was dreaming of swimming so
he took a few lessons. He really enjoyed it and is swimming great! Thanks Tyler

We toured California Pizza Kitchen - It was fun, all the kids took a tour and then got to make their own pizza. What could be better?

We finished the Summer Season with a fun get together with our good friends with a little run in the sprinklers, Popsicles and good times.

Time, who has time?

So I bet you thought I would never post again. I didn't think it would ever happen. I haven't even had time to read (spy) on other blogs.

Football has been a HUGE time commitment. Preston had a great time and can't wait to play again next season. I also met a lot of new great friends and they all fell in love with Emma. It is truly a football family. I only took photos during the first scrimmage game. Can you believe we actually had a professional photographer that took photos and then uploaded them to shutterfly so I don't have game pics, maybe soon. This was there practice uniform.

All of the boys had a great time, Preston actually cries to think there will be no more practices with his new friends.

Preston played center for a while. On the way to practice one day he said "Mom I don't want to play center" "Why, they get to touch the ball EVERY PLAY, its awesome" he replies "I just know I am going to fart on someone, I am bent over all the time waiting until everyone gets ready" I had to laugh, I love that kid! They must have felt his anxiousness because they moved him to defensive line.
