Only Harrison

Harrison has no fear of pain and the highest pain threshold I have ever seen. I know that we are going to end up in the emergency room at least 3x a year as he grows older.

I was sewing yesterday, when the phone rang. I had to run upstairs and I specifically told him "DO NOT TOUCH THIS". He quickly replied "OKAY MOM". It was not more than a few minutes I hear a "OH OH OH" quickly followed by screaming. Apparently he thought it would be a good idea to sew his pointer finger right down the middle of his finger nail. If you thought it couldn't get worse it does. The needle was in the down position and in his finger nail so he decided to ripe his finger out of the machine. I had to wrap his finger, scold him for touching when I warned him not to and then change the needle on the sewing machine because it was so bent.

Seriously, do they ever learn.

The Count Down!

We have less than 30 days until our new baby arrives! She is expected to be about 8 pounds, which is nothing new to me. Apparently my babies all grow exactly the same! We are getting excited, prepared and counting the days!

Thanks to everyone that came to my shower! It was a lot of fun and I received so many adorable things. I feel very fortunate to have so many great friends, thanks to Denise and Elizabeth for putting on a great party!

Every time I tell Harrison to go get his PJ's he forgets that HIS closet is now Emma's and he yells back at me "It's all GIRL stuff in here"! We are all adjusting to "the pink".

Halloween 2008

Harrison enjoying some candy after Trick or Treating. The boys posing with their pumpkins.

Preston's Kindergarten class.

Star Wars at its best!

Classic Preston

One afternoon Preston reported to me that the Graham crackers in the refrigerator have gone bad so he put them in the trash. As you can see they were Rye Crisps.
Preston's response to "What did you do?" " It was just an accident with markers on purpose, Mom".

How do you not laugh when your kids do and say the funniest things. My boys make life more enjoyable and they keep me laughing.

Harrisons First Day of Preschool

I am finally posting again. I couldn't get a good photo of Harrison, I don't know why he always has that funky smile when I pull out the camera.

Harrisons special breakfast, waffels with chocolate chips and whip cream, with a side of eggs! Have I ever mentioned that Harrison is addicted to sugar?
