Do you or Don't you

Once Emma's belly button fell off and she could have a "bath" this MMW post http://www.mormonmommywars.com/?p=1529 came to mind. I started giving her a bath every other day at night with the boys. Those nights she seemed to sleep so much better and I wanted to start a routine so now Emma enjoys a nice warm bath every night at 7:00pm and then off to bed. By the way...I don't care that there are 100 comments on MMW that say they only give there kids a bath once a week!

Emma 1 Month

The time goes by sooo fast, I can't believe it's already been a month. I know that she will grow up faster than the boys, we just have so much going on all the time. I have to make sure I take time out each day to count my blessings and relish the moment.

Join the Club

they both joined the No Cavity Club. I finally took my kids to the dentist. I know....I am a bad mother blah blah blah blah. I KNEW they really didn't need to go and I was right. There teeth are perfect. They even said that Preston will most likely not need braces and he doesn't need to floss. When is the last time a dentist told you, you didn't have to floss?

Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam....

Harrison graduated from Nursery in style. He is very excited to be in Primary and loves his new teacher. He says he is "Big Now".

Once Harrison received his diploma, he immediately used it as a telescope and chanted I can see you. My favorite part about this photo is the girls looking at him and his huge smile.

Whats a party with out a rice crispy treat at 10:00 in the morning?

This and That

What beats an afternoon riding bikes, watching the trash trucks go by and throwing back a cold one with good friends? This is how Kristin and I found the boys the other day. I came home to a clean house but something was off. Apparently the housekeeper thought that the Sheppard holding the sheep should be the center of the nativity and Mary and Baby Jesus should just hang out with the wise men.
I received many wonderful and very much appreciated dinners after Emma was born. Elizabeth made tacos and included some sour cream, this is what the lid on the inside said...pretty fitting huh! It put a smile on my face.

2 Weeks and Growing

Emma is on a mission to Eat, Poop and Grow. This photo was taken on Christmas Eve, so she was almost 2 weeks old. On her 2 week visit to the doctor she grew 2 inches and 1 full pound since birth. With the amount of time I spend nursing her I am not surprised at all! I completely forgot how much time is involved taking care of a newborn. And just so you know....its worth every second.

Christmas 2008

This is the only shot I got with all three kids. Can you find Emma? She is in the bouncy seat in the background. My only excuse for such poor photos is
1. I am still on drugs
2. I have not sleep
3. I was trying to enjoy the moment in person instead of behind the camera.

Somehow he knew what was in it.

I was so excited for Christmas to come and now I am so excited to get Christmas out of my house! I want the tree down and every hint of red gone. Here are some highlights of our Christmas.

Preston woke up at 3:00am, yes 3:00am and scared me to death. I was asleep sitting up (all you nursing mom's know exactly what I am talking about) and I opened my eyes and he was just standing next to my bed. With much excitement he informed me that Santa had been here and it was time to open presents. I said no go back to bed. We found him sleeping on the couch downstairs complaining his neck hurt at about 8:00am Christmas morning!
