We loooved the AZ zoo. They had so much for the kids to do and see with out the complaining of walking for ever like at the SD zoo. They even had bikes you would rent and ride around the zoo. We started out by petting the sting rays, moved on the bus ride around the park, then the monkeys, followed by a camel ride (emma was to young to ride) and we finished off the day by feeding the giraffes dinner!
This is my favorite shot! Emma was asleep and we couldn't take strollers up, so I stayed back and watched from afar! They had a great time.
You could see the animals so well.
This was with 3 generations of monkey mamas! Grandma, Mama, and baby monkey, did you know they nurse for 5 years? Poor monkeys! They didn't throw their poop at us.
At the end of the day we let the kids pick out a prize. good choice boys
We loaded up 3 kids, 4 days worth of stuff, in a 5 passenger car and drove for 6 hours!
